The craft behind every Qurbat

Qurbat carries a heavier hand of zardozi than most of the line, layered with jewel stones and hand-strung ghungroos that are tied individually to the dori ties rather than fixed in a single row.

Because each ghungroo is strung and knotted by hand, the number and spacing can vary slightly pair to pair -- part of what gives each pair its own sound underfoot.

Care

Keeping the embroidery in shape

•Store in the dust bag it arrives in, away from direct sunlight, when not in use.
•Keep away from water, perfume and oil-based products, which can mark the thread work.
•Wipe the base gently with a soft, dry cloth after each wear.
•Avoid folding or creasing the toe when storing, to protect the embroidery.
